About Us

In Motion Spine and Joint Center was established in Spring Hill to provide the communities of Northern Maury County and Southern Williamson County with a conservative care diagnostic center that specializes in musculoskeletal injuries. The Doctors of In Motion Spine and Joint Center are committed to improving their patients’ physical-well being in a way unique to the area. The approach taken here will employ a Team Approach to the patients’ care. This will allow patients to receive specialized, individualized care while at In Motion Spine and Joint Center and then will be equipped with therapeutic exercise to help maximize the treatment rendered and minimize the risk of the injury reoccurring. By providing evidenced-based care, with individualized treatment plans and active care, our patients receive unique healthcare and exemplary results at a reasonable cost.

Our Approach to HealthCare
In Motion Spine and Joint Center is an evidenced-based practice that offers specialized manual treatment methods unique to the area. These methods include:

  • Adjustment techniques and joint assessments from the Motion Palpation Institute, a biomechanically superior, evidence-based joint manipulation protocol. (To learn more about the Motion Palpation Institute visit http://www.motionpalpation.com)
  • Soft Tissue Manipulation based on the medically proven Active Release Technique (ART -- Learn more at http://www.activerelease.com) as well as Graston Technique (Learn more at http://www.grastontechnique.com)
  • Rehabilitation and therapeutic exercises.

The term Evidenced-Based Practice means employing what current research is suggesting and applying that to practice. The Doctors at In Motion Spine and Joint Center employ a rationale different than most traditional chiropractic treatment programs, but rather is based on clinical research and our unique exam process. Each patient is unique, as is their condition, requiring equally distinctive treatment programs. While adjusting is important, it’s only one health care tool in a bag of many tools. Some patients need adjusting, others benefit from soft tissue manipulation and a majority of our patients require a combination of joint manipulation, muscular therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
